Dingoes can rotate their heads almost 180° and have unusually flexible necks, which helps them track sounds and movement when hunting. They also communicate extensively through howling rather than barking.

Water dragons have a tiny light-sensitive organ on top of their head called the parietal eye. It can't form images, but it can detect changes in light and dark.
